September 15: Fermentation Happy Hour & Collaboration Miso Launch

Come on out Friday September 15th for a Fermentation Happy Hour celebrating all things fermented - including the launch of our collaboration miso with Shared Cultures!

Using heirloom California Santa Maria Pinquito Beans from Rancho Gordo and spices from Oaktown Spice, we aimed to create a miso reminiscent of the renowned Santa Maria BBQ - wait till you taste this smokey spicy wonder!

Come get a sneak peek of the miso and buy a jar ahead of the regular shop while enjoying other fermented goodies from Three Stone Hearth, Fox Tale Fermentation and Cafe15 (plus wine from Hammerling Wine - also a fermented product!)

We'll have a couple short presentations about the miso project & fermented beverages as well as a demo and info session from Elizabeth of Preserved Oakland. Maybe you'll go home with your very own fermentation crock...?

RSVP is free and helps us plan for attendance. All food and beverages will be available for sale.

Well behaved children and dogs welcome!
